Is Deloitte the Best Employer in Poland in 2025?
Deloitte has been a major presence in Poland since 1990, growing through the Andersen merger into a 2,500+ person firm today. Its Warsaw headquarters is complemented by eight regional offices — Gdańsk, Łódź, Katowice, Kraków, Poznań, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Wrocław. The firm’s marketing emphasizes social impact (“making an impact that matters”), career development, and diversity.
Programs like “Woman That Matters”, a mentoring scheme for female students that won a national Diversity & Inclusion award in 2023, exemplify how it positions itself as a modern and inclusive workplace.
But is Deloitte truly Poland’s best employer in 2025? Survey results suggest a strong employer brand, though not an uncontested one.
Let’s dig in.
Deloitte in Employer Rankings and Surveys
Deloitte typically appears in the top 10–20 in student and employee polls but seldom at #1. For example, Deloitte’s own career site notes that in the 2023 AIESEC “Employer of the Year” survey (3,000 students) it was placed 4th overall in Poland. It did even better in legal circles.
The 2024 ELSA survey of law students ranked Deloitte #1 among consulting firms (and 2nd overall among legal-sector employers).
Globally, Universum’s “World’s Most Attractive Employers 2023” report put Deloitte in 6th place (Business) and 14th (IT) among students — indicating a strong international brand. Deloitte Poland also won employer-branding awards.
At the 2024 HRM Institute “Employer Branding Excellence” contest Deloitte took two distinctions (Employee Advocacy and Internal Campaign) for its internal campaigns.
Deloitte or What?
These accolades confirm that Deloitte remains highly regarded, especially among business and law students. However, they also reveal more about the competition.
In cross-industry polls, tech giants often dominate. As Magazyn Rekrüter notes, Polish students do “have an appetite for Big Tech,” with Google clear #1 and Microsoft usually #2 in tech/IT rankings. Even within consulting, Deloitte must compete with its Big Four peers.
For instance, Forbes Poland’s 2024 “Best Employers” survey (Statista) placed KPMG as #1 in the advisory category, ahead of Deloitte.
PwC and EY also vie for top spots in various lists, as one would expect in the competitive auditing and consulting sector.
Deloitte’s Employer Brand and Culture
What makes Deloitte attractive to employees? Like other Big Four firms, Deloitte touts career development, training, and teamwork. Its global reputation offers young graduates a chance to work on high-profile projects (finance, audit, consulting, risk, tax, etc.) across industries. The company emphasizes a “rich benefits package” and inclusivity. Its website highlights robust benefits, flexibility, and diversity programs.
For example, Deloitte’s “Woman That Matters” initiative mentors 400+ female students and won a top D&I strategy award. The firm’s leadership, headed by Tomasz Konik since 2020, underscores social responsibility (investing in local communities, environmental goals) as part of its culture.
In anonymous reviews and ratings (e.g. Glassdoor), Deloitte Poland enjoys a 4.0/5 score (amongst the highest for large firms), reflecting positive feedback on training and compensation.
Officially, Deloitte is frequently a Great Place to Work–certified globally (e.g. #5 on Fortune Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ 2025) and often appears on international best-employer rankings, which bolsters its image.
Deloitte vs. Big Four and Tech Giants
When comparing Deloitte to its peers, the picture is mixed. All of the Big Four — Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG — are considered top-tier employers in Poland, but KPMG is often left behind in surveys. Albeit, Deloitte itself claims multiple awards (Top 10 position for TIME Best Companies for Future Leaders 2025 (with Statista), recent ELSA wins, etc.), but in broad popularity, Google and other tech still outshine the consultancy firms.
A recent Magazyn Rekruter article bluntly concludes that “Poland’s best employer is clearly Google,” with Microsoft, state firms (LOT, NBP), and Deloitte “trailing behind” in desirability lists. In short, while Deloitte is highly regarded in its fields, it is not (at least as of 2025) the universally #1 favorite across all of Poland. Tech giants and even public institutions still rank higher in some talent surveys.
At the same time, Deloitte’s stature means it competes in multiple talent pools. In cross-sector rankings like Universum Global’s 2024 student survey, business and law students see Deloitte as a leading consulting employer, so it often ranks #5 within that niche, but not at the very summit. Engineering or IT graduates, by contrast, gravitate towards the big tech names.

The Best Employers in Poland
So, is Deloitte the best employer in Poland in 2025? The evidence suggests that it is one of the very best, but not the outright number one. In overall popularity and survey rankings, tech giants Google and Microsoft (and to a lesser extent banks and public sector institutions) often outscore all consultancies.
Similarly, among the Big Four, Deloitte competes closely with peers.
In a nutshell, Deloitte Poland is certainly among the leading employers in 2025 – benefiting from its global prestige, large employee base, and well-rounded employer value proposition. But the title of “best employer in Poland” still seems to belong to the tech juggernauts in the eyes of most students and young professionals.
Deloitte’s challenge going forward will be to sustain its strong reputation, continue investing in culture and development, and perhaps find new ways to compete with the appeal of technology firms.
For now, Deloitte is certainly among the most attractive employers in Poland in 2025, even if it is not yet the single top choice.
