Is Samsung the Best Employer in Poland in 2025?
Samsung’s Polish operations consistently rank among the country’s top employers. In the 2024 Poland’s Best Employers survey (Forbes/Statista), Samsung Electronics Polska earned the highest score in its sector (electronics/electrical equipment) and was placed 5th overall among all companies in Poland. It improved its standing from 2023 and was proud to be named “best employer” in its industry.
In 2025’s rankings, Magazyn Rekruter reported that Samsung remained in the upper echelon, again leading its sector. These results reflect strong approval from Samsung’s employees. As the company’s People Team Director, Rafał Tyburcy, noted, initiatives for “employee development” have been well received.
These recognitions could make Samsung one of the best employers in Poland, but do they make it the very best? Here’s what the stats say.
Samsung’s Stellar Employer Reputation
Samsung Poland topped the electronics/hardware category and was top-5 overall in 2024. This year, it ranked among the top 10 employers in Poland (around #9). These lists are based on anonymous employee surveys across industries, so Samsung’s high scores indicate broad satisfaction in areas like image, compensation, and growth opportunities.

Independent surveys also favor Samsung. For example, the Randstad Employer Brand Research named Samsung Poland the “most attractive employer” in the country (in 2021 data), and Universum student polls regularly list it as a top tech employer.
In fact, survey respondents associate Samsung with a strong market position and career growth — noting its “good financial condition, good reputation, and the possibility of professional development.”
In internal comments, Samsung managers emphasize the company’s investment in people. “…our initiatives supporting employee development have been recognized,” Tyburcy remarked while commenting on Samsung’s recognition in Forbes magazine’s Poland’s Best Employers 2024 ranking.
Samsung’s Workforce Rivals the Biggest Names
Samsung’s footprint in Poland is large and diverse. According to Samsung’s own report, it had about 4,239 employees in Poland at the end of 2024. These are spread across several affiliates: Samsung Electronics Polska (sales and marketing of devices) and Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing (an appliance factory), among others.
It also operates a major R&D center (Samsung R&D Institute Poland). This makes Samsung one of the country’s largest foreign IT/electronics employers — roughly double the workforce of Google in Poland. A large company means a variety of roles and career paths (engineering, sales, production, etc.), which boosts its attractiveness.
Innovation and Opportunity: Samsung’s Culture
In terms of corporate culture and perks, Samsung is a household brand in Poland, with well-known products and a reputation for stability. Job-seekers note that employees benefit from competitive salaries, training programs, and modern offices. Universum research finds that Poles rank “attractive salary” and “career development” as top employer attributes, and Samsung checks both.
The company also emphasizes an innovative culture. Its local R&D institute, for instance, frequently hosts technical conferences. An example is a June 2025 EU B2B summit in Warsaw, to promote collaboration and learning. Such initiatives signal to the market that Samsung is committed to cutting-edge projects.
Competing for Talent: Samsung vs. Tech Giants
Despite its strengths, Samsung is not the standout in Poland’s tech labor market. Other global giants frequently earn higher marks in talent rankings. For example, in the 2025 Forbes/Statista list Microsoft and Google outranked Samsung overall (Microsoft led the IT/telecom category, with Google second), per Magazyn Rekruter.
Tech graduates, in particular, often put Google and Microsoft at the very top of their ideal employers’ lists. Intel (headquartered in Poland) and domestic companies like CD Projekt also appear in high positions.
Samsung: A Top Employer, But Not #1 Yet
In all, Samsung Electronics in Poland is certainly one of the country’s top employers. It consistently lands at the top of industry-specific rankings and in the overall top 10. It leads its own sector (electronics/hardware) and offers employees a robust career environment.
Albeit, “best” is not easy to achieve. Microsoft, Google, and others are often ranked above Samsung in cross-industry lists.
For jobseekers, Samsung’s appeal lies in its combination of a strong global brand, stability, and growth opportunities.
While it may not displace the likes of Google as Poland’s #1 employer choice, Samsung ranks very highly as a best-in-class tech workplace, often outpacing all but a few peers. And with a global shift towards AI-powered electronics/hardware and Samsung’s growing investment in R&D, it could someday become the single #1 choice for every candidate in its category at least.
