Polish Professionals Redefine Britain’s Future: Landmark London Conference at Pall Mall

Britain is facing its most pressing skills shortage in decades, from healthcare to technology. The UK has more than 1 million vacancies across vital sectors, with industries like engineering, medicine, and IT struggling to fill roles. Amidst these challenges, one community has been quietly building bridges, driving innovation, and shaping Britain’s future: Polish professionals.

On 18 October 2025, at the Royal Army and Navy Club, 36 Pall Mall, London, the conference Polish Professionals in Great Britain: Building Bridges, Inspiring the Future will spotlight the extraordinary contributions of the Polish diaspora. The event will bring together around 100 leaders from business, academia, medicine, technology, and the arts to share their stories, successes, and strategies for navigating Britain’s evolving professional landscape.

“Polish migration is no longer a novelty — we are a mature, integrated diaspora shaping Britain every day,” says Marian Zastawny, Chair of the Association of Polish Engineers in Great Britain. “This event is our chance to make that visible: to tell the stories of Polish professors, doctors, entrepreneurs, scientists, and creatives who are redefining what it means to be Polish in Britain.”
